Dedicated parts recycling centre opens for business

Renault Truck Commercials now boasts a parts recycling centre in its network.

In addition, the company has launched a parts website to give customers an improved online experience.

The dedicated parts recycling centre specialising in Renault Trucks second life parts.

Therefore it carefully selects end of life trucks to meet sales demand.

As a result, it is able to meet the growing demand for high-quality recycled parts.

Con Rooney, Renault Truck Commercials’ MD, called the opening of the centre a “proud” day.

“All sectors of the market and supply chain have been affected by the challenges of the global pandemic.

“Therefore, this investment is further evidence of our long-term commitment to supporting customers,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Steve Astill, group parts manager at Renault Truck Commercials explained that transparency was key.

“We know the service history of every part on every Renault truck that comes through the facility,” he stated. 

“Additionally, all major recycled components come with a warranty.

Furthermore, Astill explained that technicians remove, clean, prepare and store the parts ready for sale.

Importantly, the new facility ensures the highest standards in health and safety.

“We try to sell as much as possible from the vehicles we process. 

“However, anything we can’t sell is disposed of through our waste conscious streams.

A full listing of quality recycled parts are available to purchase at the dedicated sales website.

Meanwhile, a new parts website will aim to ‘improve the customer journey, product advice and support’. 

As a result, the website has been designed around the customer to select and purchase the right parts.

The website runs on mobile and desktop devices and offers a number of key features.

For example, a unique VIN search option to make it easier to find specific parts.
