New MAN flagship model as TGX Lion S roars in

News

MAN has sprung an early year surprise by pulling the wraps off a new flagship model.

The TGX Individual Lion S was launched via MAN’s YouTube Channel. Meanwhile, MAN introduced MAN QuickStop – a new video brand for social media – at the same time.

The arrival of the Lion S comes a year after MAN introduced its latest truck generation. MAN is hoping to further raise the profile of this generation, which has a heavy emphasis on quality.

On the outside of the truck there is plenty of carbon fibre, not least on the bumpers and mirror housings. Meanwhile, flashes of red can also be found – on the radiator cover, chrome trims and elsewhere outside.

Black wheel trims also help the TGX stand out from the crowd, along with an optional roof bar with lights.

The level of luxury continues when climbing aboard the big truck from MAN. For example, seats are covered in Alcantara feature and feature red stitching. Additionally, the armrests and door inserts continue the theme, while a red Lion features on the headrests.

As drivers might expect, the cabin is a very pleasant environment. Firstly, there are premium seats available as well as ‘generous’ steering wheel adjustment for maximum comfort.

Beyond those features, there are numerous safety functions, such as ACC, lane assist and high beam assist.

MAN has also put the driver first when they are not behind the wheel of the flagship model.

A wall unit in place of the second bed can swallow up to 1,400 litres and there is the option of a fitted kitchen unit with microwave and coffee machine.

Finally, A 22in TV is available as an option on the side wall above the bed.

The UK’s first TGX Individual Lion S will arrive in the country in June 2021.
